Mix it up Monday!

Welcome to Mix it up Monday!  What a great way to start the week :)  I always look forward to seeing what everyone will share at the party!  I know this time of year it's quite busy with the kids getting out of school so I greatly appreciate you stopping over and sharing.  I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Sweet Cream Cheese Bundles

 

There is a restaurant that we go to that makes these delicious little bundles of dough that are filled with a sweetened cream cheese.  It's a very simple dessert and I couldn't wait to try making them at home.  I started with puff pastry, filled it with cream cheese and into the oven they went until golden brown.  They are divine and they taste pretty close to the ones at the restaurant.  I'm excited that I can now make them at home...and the kids are too!

This time of year we have a lot of activites going on and it seems like we are running in million directions trying to get the kids to their destination.  Even though we are so busy, I still like to sit down for dinner as much as we can.  I also like to whip up something for dessert for us to enjoy once we come back home.  However, there are times when I just don't have the time and I'm grateful for prepackaged ones like Private Selection Upside Down Cakes.  These cakes look like gourmet cakes that you find in a bakery and all you have to do is heat them up, flip, and serve!
