It's hard to believe that another year has come and gone! Although I must say, it has been a wonderful one. To celebrate I thought I'd count down the ten most popular posts of 2011. There were some close calls as to which would end up in second, third and fourth. However, the most popular post won by a landslide. I hope you enjoy the countdown and I wish you all a very Happy New Year!

Happy holidays to you all! Chocolate Yule Log is a quick and simple dessert that looks lovely! This recipe can be made in less than an hour...just in case you need a last minute dessert! The chocolate frosting on the outside is thick and fudgy while the white creamy frosting inside is silky and smooth. A perfect combination all rolled into a lightly sweetened sponge cake.

My Kindergartener had snack day the other day so I decided to make these reindeer pretzels to celebrate the holiday season! I think I may have stuck the pretzel sticks up too high, however they still turned out cute and the kids loved them! If you need a last minute treat to take to your holiday gatherings here is a quick and simple recipe! It's not quite a recipe, but you'll see how it's done.

Healthy Chocolate Cake, yes it's a first for me! I normally use everyday ingredients in my recipes until recently when I was approached by Kate from Modern Alternative Mama. She asked if I'd like to review her newest ebook Treat Yourself ~Real Food Desserts~ and since I've never baked like this before, I said yes! Her site is devoted to cooking as healthy and naturally as possible. She uses all natural sweeteners like honey and maple syrup; alternative flours such as almond flour and sprouted flour. I didn't know what to expect, so into the kitchen I went and out came a beautiful healthy chocolate cake! The taste was a little different than what I'm used to, however it turned out very good! It was moist and baked up just like any other cake. Would you like a chance to try her recipes too? Kate is offering one of you a copy of her ebook, all you have to do is leave a comment below!

This pie is made with oatmeal and coconut, however what's unique is that you can add in whatever you like. Yes, you heard me right... whatever you like! You could choose white chocolate, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, walnuts, pecans, raisins, cranberries, whatever your favorite is, just toss it in and enjoy. I'd love to hear what you would choose, so let me know!
