Summer Fun with Pringles® DIY Drums!

 

I love summer because we don’t have to worry about a strict schedule; we get to play outside all day and jam out to our favorite music.  Pringles® has asked me to show you how we jam on behalf of the 

Pringles® Summer Jam Sweepstakes.

When you have kids in school, you know how crazy it can be.  We have four kids that are involved in football, soccer, chorus, other extra curricular activities, and don’t forget the homework!  So when school is out and summer arrives we are all very excited.  It’s a time for us to relax, stay up late, we don’t follow a schedule; we enjoy our carefree time together.  Our whole family loves music, and one of our favorite things to do is jam out to our favorite songs.  It’s a time where we can let loose, be silly and just have fun! 

 Now I’ll be honest, we are not very musically inclined, but we can carry a beat.  The kids have an electric keyboard, two ukuleles, 3 recorders, and now a set of homemade drums!  We took one of our favorite snacks, Pringles® chips and turned them into a fun set of DIY drums.  It was quite simple to do and enjoyable as well.  Once we ate our delicious chips we cut the cans in half.  We left the lids on one end and the other end was the metal.  Then all we had to do is flip them over and start drumming away!

As you can see they are a blast.  The kids so much fun and being that the tops had different materials on them they made different sounds when the drum sticks hit.
