The weather was beautiful a few days last week and that made us crave cooler treats.  We usually make my No-Churn Ice Cream, but this time we wanted to try something different.  I saw this Strawberry Sorbet that not only looked delicious, but it wasn’t a complicated recipe either.  You have to extract some ginger juice, but it’s easy and it makes the sorbet taste divine.  This recipe is just in time for Spring…enjoy!

Ingredients are as follows:

1 cup strawberries (frozen)
2 tablespoons ginger juice (fresh)
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
3 cups ice, crushed
1/4 cup yogurt

Instructions:
  1. Peel and grate several slices of ginger.
  2. Squeeze out
the juice from the grated pieces into a small bowl.
  3. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  4. Blend until smooth; keep in the freezer.
  5. When ready to serve, simply scoop out servings, and enjoy!
