Have you heard of Daelia’s Biscuits for Cheese? They are wonderful thin crisp biscuits that pair very well with so many cheeses.  They offer Hazelnut with fig, Pumpkin Seed with rye, and Almond with raisins.  I had the pleasure of receiving some samples from them and I’m so happy that I did!  These biscuits are not like any other biscuit that I’ve seen.  They have big slices of hazelnuts, figs, pumpkin seeds, almonds, and raisins…ones that you can actually see!

Plus they are low in calories and fat!  Since they’re so nutritional I decided to grind them up and make them into energy bites, however these are delicious straight out of the package.  Daelia’s has graciously offered one of you a sample box too.  It will include six packages; two of each flavor.  Just leave a comment below 🙂

Hazelnut & Fig Energy Bites
Ingredients are as follows:
1 package Daelia’s hazelnut & fig biscuits
1 8 ounce package pitted figs

Directions:
Grind the biscuits up until roughly chopped.
Chop the dates up until a ball forms (I did mine in two batches).
Add to the chopped biscuits and mix with your hands until combined.
Form into two inch balls.
Take a bite and enjoy!

How simple is that?  I also took the Almond and raisin, mixed those with ground up raisins and they were just as good!  These biscuits are a great way to get some extra fruit and nuts into your diet.

I’m sure you’d like to try some too!  You’ll receive two packages of each flavor.  Leave a comment telling me what flavor you’d like to try first: Hazelnut & fig, Almond & raisin, or Pumpkin seed & rye.
