3 Years Ago….and a giveaway!

Flour Me With Love

Three years ago my littlest one started kindergarten and I was a stay-at-home mom who now (after 14 years) had some time on her hands.  I said about getting a job, but my husband said if we were already making it on one income, we were doing fine, the kids know that I am there “all” the time for them so why disrupt something that is going so well.  I thought so too, but it still made for some lonely days.  So I decided to start a blog, not knowing where it would take me and in three years I couldn’t be happier!

I’d like to let you know that I have a new button (up top there).  My son made it and I think it turned out adorable; you can get the code in my sidebar.

  18. 'Mystify Pie' – looks like a giant cream puff – a puff-pastry shell, filled with (homemade) custard and whipped cream folded together, decorated with sliced kiwi and strawberries and shaved semi-sweet chocolate. Called "mystify" because you blend the pastry mixture and spread on the bottom of a pie plate, not the sides. As it cooks, the sides myteriously rise up to create a deep pie shell.
